Learn bucket 101

  • On your scheduled service days, please have your bucket out by 6:30am at your specified location to ensure a successful service.

  • Our hardworking team makes sure your bucket is always cleaned and industrially sanitized fully between each service.

  • A new bucket will be replaced for you on your service day, full of any items you purchase on WasteNot Shop.

Glass Recycling

With only 40% of the glass added to your city recycling bin actually getting recycled, we at WasteNot decided there had to be a better option. Glass is an infinitely recyclable resource and WasteNot's Glass Recycling service will recycle 100% of your glass waste.

Soft plastics Recycling

With our one-time collection service, WasteNot offers convenient pickup for your soft plastics waste (think grocery, bread, & produce bags, plastic films, and more!) Add this item to your cart in WasteNot Shop and a designated Soft Plastics Recycling bag will be delivered on your next scheduled service date. Fill it up and return at your convenience with your scheduled compost or glass service.

WasteNot works with hundreds of businesses and organizations of all sizes throughout Chicagoland. If you’re interested in composting at your workplace, fill out our commercial inquiry form and our team will be in touch!
