Why recycle glass?
-
Glass is infinitely recyclable without affecting its quality. Recycling glass separately ensures a 100% recyclable resource is kept out of landfills.
-
Recycling glass cuts water pollution by 50% & reduces air pollution by 20% compared to making new glass! It also reduces consumption of raw materials and space in landfills.
-
Nationally, only 40% of glass that is put into single-stream recycling bins actually ends up being recycled properly. Separating glass from other recyclables reduces contamination, creating higher quality materials and products.
-
Reliable and sustainable glass recycling pickup with our 100% electric vehicles.

There are many reasons why it is important to recycle glass separate from the rest of your recyclables. When glass breaks in the multi-stream recycling process, it ends up being too difficult to separate and reprocess so recyclers end up sending it landfills. Since glass is 100% recyclable and the glass recycling process reduces pollution, it’s super important to separate your glass!
