zero-waste coffee delivery WITH WASTENOT
WasteNot is partnering with Metropolis Coffee to bring you a zero-waste coffee delivery service!
the Zero-Waste Coffee pilot program
HOW OUR COFFEE DELIVERY PROGRAM WORKS
-
REGISTER AND ROAST
WHEN YOU ENROLL, YOU WILL CHOOSE FROM THE DIFFERENT WHOLE BEAN COFFEE ROAST OPTIONS WE HAVE AVAILABLE FROM OUR PARTNER METROPOLIS COFFEE.
YOUR ROAST SELECTION WILL BE DELIVERED EVERY OTHER WEEK WITH YOUR REGULAR BUCKET COMPOST SERVICE.
-
RECEIVE AND REJOICE
ALL ORDERS ARE DELIVERED IN SEALED STAINLESS STEEL TIN IN A REUSABLE BAG. ALL COFFEE SUBSCRIPTION ORDERS WILL BE DELIVERED USING WASTENOT’S FULLY ELECTRIC FLEET OF VEHICLES.
AFTER DELIVERY, ENJOY YOUR ROAST OF CHOICE KNOWING THAT YOUR NEXT CUP OF COFFEE WILL NOT BE CONTRIBUTING TO LANDFILLS.
-
RETURN AND REFILL
LEAVE YOUR EMPTY TIN IN THE REUSABLE DELIVERY BAG OUT WITH YOUR COMPOST BUCKET ON YOUR PICK UP SERVICE DAY. WASTENOT WILL SWAP IT OUT WITH A FRESH TIN FULL OF YOUR FAVORITE COFFEE.
YOUR USED TIN GETS SANITIZED AND REFILLED FOR ANOTHER DELIVERY.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO LEAVE OUT YOUR EMPTY TIN FOR PICK UP TO AVOID EXTRA FEES.

Compostable coffee pods from metropolis
-
Traditional coffee pods are made with plastic or aluminum and are difficult to recycle or end up in landfills. To reduce the environmental footprint of your coffee routine, Metropolis created certified compostable espresso capsules with best-in-class compostable technology.
