Bubble Wrap Collection Available

Looking to reduce your waste from packages or shipping products? WasteNot is offering bubble wrap collection this April in partnership with EcoShip! EcoShip is a non-profit that collects shipping materials from Chicagoland communities and distributes them to businesses for reuse.

Here's how to ensure your bubble wrap gets recycled properly:

  1. Head to the WasteNot Shop and place an order for "Bubble Wrap Collection." You can order this service from early April through early May.

  2. Place your bubble wrap in a brown bag and set it out with your bucket on your next service day.

  3. Your bubble wrap will be collected and reused responsibly in partnership with EcoShip Chicago.

What is accepted?

  • Bubble wrap sheets

What is not accepted?

  • Tape on the bubble wrap

  • Bubble mailers

  • Honeycomb Packing Paper

  • Plastic bags or cardboard packaging

  • Air pillows
